Used to provide a source of smoke for testing the smoke detection system. Controlled smoke generation for determining flow & velocity of slow moving air. It can be used in the cargo area (draw thru type smoke detectors) or lavatory/crew rest area type smoke detectors. The 458481 kit includes aspirator bulb, 2 rubber plugs and 6 plastic smoke tubes. Additional plastic smoke tubes (P/N 458480, package of 12) can be ordered if needed. Applicability: * Limited to 747-8F/8 cargo smoke detectors only. * Limited to 777 lav/crew rest smoke detectors PRR 62210 prior to L/N 805 only.
