Used to check the opening pressure of the wing tank surge tank pressure relief valve. Wing surge valve should opens between +1.00 and +1.25 PSIG and -2.50 and -2.75 PSIG, except 747-400 horizontal stabilizer surge valve opens between 1.2 and 1.25 PSIG & -3.50 PSIG and -4.50 PSIG.
